Board Meeting Minutes
December 20, 2008 - 8:30 a.m. @ Burbank, CA

Present: Duane Harwood, Doug Nice, Jim Macaluso, David Ramirez, Dan Smith

1. Call to Order: Meeting called to order at 8:30 a.m. by President, Duane Harwood.

2. Minutes: No prior minutes to approve.

3. Treasurer's Report: Macaluso explained that there are a few outstanding collections due to SCDGC; 2 members incurred bounced checks, 1 member owes for a tournament no-show, and the FWGAD Co-Chairs both indicated they would contribute $100 each to mitigate the FWGAD Host deficit. Macaluso met with SCDGC Past-President/FWGAD Host Co-Chair, Nichols, to review the FWGAD 2008 Cash Flow report and pointed out that the Co-Chairs decision to utilize $700 of SCDGC funds for supplemental FWGAD prizes resulted in a deficit balance. As a result, Nichols donated reimbursements owed to him for awards expenses.

4. President's Report: Harwood thanked everyone for showing up and indicated that we have quite a few businesses to take care of before the next tournament in January;
