The 2011 Board of Directors will begin their 2-year term effective immediately. They will hold their first meeting in the next few weeks to determine board position assignments, i.e., President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, Tournament Director, and Handicap Chair. Once determined, a meeting will be called to order with the responsibility of discussing 2 primary agenda items: (1) determine the 2011 Tournament Schedule and (2) review of Standing Rules for the organization. When necessary, the standing rules will allow SCDGC greater flexibility in adopting annual changes by majority vote of the Board, e.g., membership fees, special rules, etc.
